SOURCE: Steam distilled from the flowers of the bitter orange.
CHARACTERISTICS Neroli is also called orange flower and orange blossom. The pale yellow oil has a delicate fresh floral top notes and warm, heady, bitter-sweet undertones. Neroli blends well with almost all other essential oils, especially lavender, melissa(lemon balm), rose, jasmine, frakincense and bergamot.
THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES: Antidepres- sant, antiseptic, antispasmodic, aphrodisiac, cicatrizant, sedative, tonic.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Non-toxic, non-irritant, non-sensitizing, non-phototoxic.
