CHARACTERISTICS: Pale yellow liquid with a warm, spicy-sweet characteristic scent. It is a good masking agent.
THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES: antispasmodic, antiseptic, carminative, diuretic, expectorant, galactogogue, paraciticide, stimulant, stomachic.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Known to cause dermatitis - avoid in allergic and inflammatory skin conditions. In large doses it is narcotic and slows down the irculationl; can lead to cerebral disorders. Use in moderation. Avoid during pregnancy.
