SOURCE Incisions in the bark produces milky white resin that hardens into orange-brown "tears" and the essential oil is solvent extracted from the "tears" of hardened resin. Solvent extraction of the resin.
CHARACTERISTICS A fresh citrus turpentine top notes and sweet, warm balsamic camphoraceous wood-smoke undertones. It blends well with most florals, woods, spices and citruses and also with patchouli, clary sage, rosemary, basil and vetiver.
THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES Antiinflammatory, antiseptic, astringent, carminative, cicatrizant, cytophylactic, digestive, diuretic, emmenagogue, expectorant, sedative, tonic.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: non-toxic, non-irritant, non-sensitizing
