Our Clove Leaf essential oil is 100% pure.
SOURCE: steam distilled from leaves of the plant.
CHARACTERISTICS fresh fruity top notes and deep sweet spicy undertones. In tiny amounts it blends well with citruses and florals as well as basil, rose, lavender, bergamot, ylang ylang, clary sage, lemongrass and sandalwood.
THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES: analgesic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, carminative, stimulant, stomachic.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Do not use if you have sensitive skin. May cause dermatitis in some individuals. Can be an irritant to skin and mucuous membranes. This oil is a stronger irritant than clove bud oil due to its higher eugenol content. Use less than 1% in a massage oil.
