Our Lime essential oil is 100% pure.
SOURCE: Expressed from the peel of the nearly ripe fruit.
CHARACTERISTICS: Clean fresh green top notes with slightly bitter citrusy undertones. It blends well with citruses and also neroli, lavender, geranium, ylang ylang, rosemary, cypress and rosewood.
THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES Antiseptic, antiviral, astrigent, bactericide, febrifuge, tonic.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Lime oil is a photosensitizer. Do not use 12 hours before going out into direct sunlight. Do not use if you have very sensitive skin. Use no more than 3 drops in bath water.
