SOURCE: The oil is expressed (cold pressed) from the outer skin (rind) of the nearly ripe and ripe fruit.
CHARACTERISTICS: A clean, fresh, light, sharp top notes with slightly sweet, citrusy undertones. It blends well with florals and citruses and most other oils. If a blend smells wrong, adding a few drops of lemon often improves the fragrance.
THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES: Antimicrobial, antirheu- matic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, astringent, bactericide, carminative, diuretic, depurative, febrifuge, hemostatic, tonic.
