SOURCE: Steam distilled from the leaves and flowering tops.
CHARACTERISTICS Spicy, herbaceous top notes and warm, woody, camphoraceous undertones. It blends well with most other herbs and also lavender, bergamot, cypress, chamomile, juniper and eucalyptus.
THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES: Analgesic, anaphrodisiac, antiseptic, antispasmodic, carminative, digestive, emmenagogue, hypotensor, sedative, tonic and vasodilator.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Avoid throughout pregnancy.
