SOURCE: steam distilled from the leaves and young twigs.
CHARACTERISTICS: sweet fresh camphoraceous top notes and eucalyptus-like undertones. It blends well with lavender, pine, lemon, myrtle, orange, hyssop and eucalyptus.
THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES: analgesic, antiseptic, antiviral, bactericide, cicatrizant, decongestant, febrifuge, insecticide, stimulant vulnerary.

The properties of Niaouli are very similar to Tea Tree, but the aroma is softer, sweeter and to many people more pleasant. A great substitute if you have trouble liking the scent of Tea Tree.
