SOURCE: Steam distilled from the flowering tops and leaves.
CHARACTERISTICS: Intense, fresh green, herbal top notes and sweet, spicy medicinal undertones. It blends well with most herbs and also with lavender, bergamot, lemon, pine, cypress and black pepper.
THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES: Antiseptic, antispasmodic, bactericide, carminative, digestive, emmenagogue, expectorant, hypertensive, stiulant, tonic.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Avoid during pregnancy, and if you have very sensitive skin. Use only in small amounts-not more than 2% in carrier oil, avoid prolonged use.
